Sex bias is form of discrimination and unfair treatment based on gender or sex. This is very evident in unequal opportunities, stereotypes, and differential treatment in areas like work, education, healthcare, and social life based on a person's sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics or SOGIESC. It's rooted in societal norms and historical prejudices, causing systemic inequalities. Addressing it means promoting gender equality, challenging stereotypes, and implementing fair policies for all, irrespective of sex or gender.
