Humans are responsible for the global temperature rise for the past 200 years, according to climate scientists. The speed of global warming has been unprecedented in the last 2,000 years, making human activities the driving force of climate change. Climate change, however, extends beyond mere temperature increases; it entails widespread alterations across the atmosphere, land, ocean, and ice regions.
The first the first report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) back in 1990 has indeed concluded hat "human-caused climate change would soon become apparent but could not yet confirm that it was already happening." Hundreds of scientists are involved in putting together studies and data to share to the world, especially the government bodies, the alarming conditions we are now in. The new IPCC reports have shown massive impacts of climate change in various areas of the globe, further affected various populations.
