Mutuality Across Ages

Age Bias

The 2021 Global Report on Ageism by the World Health Organization (WHO) unveils an eye-opening revelation: a survey encompassing 83,034 individuals across 57 nations revealed that a staggering half of the respondents harbored "moderately or highly ageist attitudes."

Data shows that these traits correlated notably with elevated ageist sentiments. Those more likely to exhibit such attitudes tended to be of younger age, male gender, and possessed a lower level of education. These insights were gleaned from a comprehensive survey conducted by a collaborative team from esteemed institutions including the World Health Organization, Oxford University, and the University of Southern California, as published by the prestigious Swiss-based MDPI (mdpi.com).
